About Us

Started as an informal family gatherings for Eid and Iftaar in 2017, Indian Muslim Community in Belgium formed IMGM (Indian Minorities Group Milen) in 2019 as a Belgium asbl. Our aim is to provide social, religious and cultural support to the community, by giving special attention to the needs of the youngsters. We also provide guidance to understand religion and our culture and at the same time focus on integrating well into the social structure of Belgium.

IMGM regularly organises cultural events for the community where families can get together, enjoy the company of each other, and see their children participate in various events.

Is free parking available?

Yes, Free parking available. While registering make sure you submit your car license number. So that the personalised car parking registration link will be shared with you.

Getting to the venue.

Best is to take public transport. Tram: 7, 25 and get down at stop VUB. Metro: 5, get down at stop Delta.

Is it compulsory to register for the event?

Yes. It is highly recommended to register for the event so that volunteers can foresee the arrangements for snacks, seating, parking, etc.

Mosque:

We are currently in process of gathering capital and planning for the masjid.

Advice and counselling:

We offer help and advice in many matters affecting their day-to-day life in Belgium. Our Volunteers can advise on a wide range of matters, such as bereavement, personal problems, and Islamic guidance, location of masjids, queries regards to government administrative services and Haj / Umrah. Events and gatherings:

We organise Islamic gatherings and events to bring the Indian Muslims together and help each other to grow as a community.

Islamic Education:

We are in process of gathering funds and planning to provide Islamic education to children. We already help to share details of institutions providing Islamic education in Belgium
